10 weeks in Florida

I’ll be posting photos and observations from our timeshare in Cape Canaveral, FL. 

This afternoon it was 65 degrees. Wouldn’t you know, it dropped one degree when I took the photo by the pool and lazy river. 

Be prepared for lots of flora and fauna. 

I’ve been following the news here before we arrived, and I was aware of the beach reclamation project that will be ongoing through April in front of our resort from the Port to beyond the Cocoa Beach Pier.

 Below you can see the sand that is sucked from the ocean floor being spewed out onto the beach.

The sand is pumped from the ocean in those huge pipes. You can hear it moving inside!

We still were able to take a walk along the beach and pick up a few shells, heading south from the timeshare.
