Condo interior coming together! Shingles done.

The trusses go up and the roof goes on.

 Shingling started on the roof.

 Patio doors are in.

The paper on the floor shows where the dining room table goes
so they can put the chandelier right above it.

 Master bedroom is huge!

The corner fireplace is in the living room. Builder Frank Hanig on left.

Patio and the roof are shingled.

Half wall in the den by stairway leading to the basement.

Susan’s craft studio in the basement has an egress window and lots of light.

Bentley Oregano Basil and Parsley Seeds

I planted the seeds in pots on the patio because we will be moving in October. Unfortunately, the squirrels dug into the dirt to hide their nuts, and none of the seeds germinated.

Maybe the packaging should warn gardeners that seeds should be protected from rodents prior to germination. I tried putting nylon netting over the pots, but it was too late.

More roof done

The roof sheeting is going on. Next week we will have a walk-through with the builder, realtor, electrician, and cabinetmaker to make sure everything goes where we want it.

Below Carl paints the storm cellar light gray to cover the water stains. The paint has an anti-microbial agent to seal the water stains.

Walls going up on the condo

Here is the beige vinyl siding and the shingles on our condo.

The door handles will be levers like these in brushed nickel finish.

The concrete is delivered.

Pumping the concrete through the elevator to the job site.

Using the cement float to smooth the concrete floor. No 2-by-4 like when Carl helped his dad.

 We've got walls"

Now we have a front door!

This is the basement.

The garage walls are up.

Now it looks like a garage.

This is the north side of the condo looking toward garage.

The patio was poured today.

Looking into the kitchen (right) from the garage.

This is now the front entry.
